Abstract:
An embodiment of the present application relates to the technical field of electronics and relates to a split screen display method and terminal. The method comprises: displaying a first interface in a display zone of a screen of a terminal; detecting an operation signal in a preset direction within a preset zone at the edge of the terminal when displaying the first interface; dividing the display zone of the screen into at least two sub-zones according to the operation signal, wherein the first interface is displayed within a first sub-zone from among the at least two sub-zones. The split screen display method provided by the embodiment uses the preset zone at the edge of the terminal as a trigger zone for split screen display without displaying a virtual key in the trigger zone, thereby not occupying display space and not obstructing the display of other information.
