Abstract:
Provided is a spool valve device with which it is possible to identify abnormal spool action without increasing the number of parts therein. This spool valve device comprises: a housing in which a plurality of flow passages are formed; a spool which switches the connection state of the plurality of flow passages by moving; an electric actuator which includes an electric motor rotating an output shaft by means of torque in accordance with a flowing drive current, and a direct-acting conversion mechanism converting the rotational motion of the output shaft into linear motion, and applies thrust to the spool in accordance with the torque, thereby changing the spool position; a bias member which applies, to the spool, a bias force against the thrust of the electric actuator; an angle detection unit which detects the angle position of the output shaft of the electric motor; a drive unit which drives the electric motor by controlling the flow of the drive current in relation to the electric motor on the basis of an inputted position command and the angle position detected by the angle detection unit; and an abnormality determination unit which calculates the spool position on the basis of the angle position detected by the angle detection unit to determine whether there is abnormal spool action.
