Abstract:
Provided are: a spout stopper capable of ensuring high sealing performance even with a configuration of providing no closing plate to a spout body; and a packaging container provided with the spout stopper. The spout stopper is provided with a spout body and a cap. An inner ring of the cap has, on the outer circumferential surface thereof, a first region having a first outer diameter and a second region having a second outer diameter. The side wall of the spout body has, on the inner circumferential surface thereof, a first region having a first inner diameter and a second region having a second inner diameter. In a state where the cap is screwed to the spout body, the first region of the inner ring and the first region of the side wall of the spout body are in close contact with each other over the entire circumference, the second region of the inner ring and the second region of the side wall of the spout body are in close contact with each other over the entire circumference, and a space is provided between a region where the first region of the inner ring and the first region of the side wall of the spout body are in close contact with each other and a region where the second region of the inner ring and the second region of the side wall of the spout body are in close contact with each other.
