Abstract:
This liquefied gas carrying vessel has a cargo tank for storing a liquefied gas and has a spray device for carrying out spray work for spraying the liquefied gas into the cargo tank, and uses gas generated by vaporizing the liquefied gas as propulsion fuel, wherein, when calculating, from the vapor quality in the cargo tank, a spray vaporization rate indicating the ratio of the flowrate of gas vaporized in the cargo tank with respect to a spray flowrate of the liquefied gas, a coefficient by which the vapor quality is multiplied is calculated in advance on the basis of actual measurement data in the liquefied gas carrying vessel, and the spray vaporization rate at an arbitrarily defined date during sailing is predicted on the basis of a value obtained by multiplying the vapor quality by the coefficient at the arbitrarily defined date.
