Abstract:
Disclosed is a spring assembly which is interposed between a piston and an abutment-receiving member on which an abutting part extending from the piston can be brought into abutment. The spring assembly is provided with: a plurality of springs that bias the piston in a direction away from the abutment-receiving member; and a base plate that is formed in an annular shape and supports the plurality of springs arranged side by side in the circumferential direction thereof. The base plate comprises: a plurality of through-holes each of which allows the abutting part to pass therethrough when the springs are compressed so as to cause the abutting part to come into abutment with the abutment-receiving member; and a plurality of cylindrical parts in which the abutting part is inserted and which are formed at the rim of the respective through-holes. The cylindrical parts are configured to extend along a reciprocating direction of the piston.
