Abstract:
[Problem] If some or all of the spring-receiving sections are bent beyond what is specified, the engagement of, for example, a piston that is used by being fitted into the opening formed at the end of a first retainer member or a second retainer member becomes impossible. [Solution] A spring device characterized in that: a pair of retainers are cylinders, which have a hollow section therein and in which a spring-receiving section for receiving an end of a spring is formed; in the spring-receiving sections, sections that are relatively strongly affected by the spring setting load and sections that are relatively weakly affected are alternately disposed; and by setting the spring on the paired retainer members, the internal diameter or the external diameter of the open end of the strongly-affected sections and the internal diameter or external diameter of the open end of the weakly-affected sections become similar.
