Abstract:
The present invention pertains to an easily producible spring member for improving prescribed properties. A spring plate 1 is equipped with a spring body 10 and a film coating 11. The spring body 10 comprises a ferrous material such as spring steel, and the center section thereof is curved. The film coating 11 is formed on the spring body 10 top surface 10a on which a tensile force acts. The film coating 11 is formed from a powdered coating composition containing an epoxy resin, an acid-terminated polyester resin, and a zinc powder. Thus, a zinc-containing layer containing a relatively large amount of zinc powder is formed on the surface side of the spring body 10, and a resin-containing layer containing a relatively large amount of a resin component is formed on the zinc-containing layer.
