Abstract:
Provided is a spring for which use for upward movement and/or use for downward movement can be selected appropriately, and for which the spring constant can be adjusted suitably to a low value with the selected use.
In a cross section in the axial direction of a main body part (10), a middle part between an inner circumferential part (10A) and an outer circumferential part (10B) forms a protrusion with respect to a straight line connecting the inner circumferential part (10A) and the outer circumferential part (10B), and that protrusion is formed with a curving shape. When a load P which moves a first flange part (11) upward is applied, the main body part (10) undergoes elastic deformation and the inner circumferential part (10A) of the main body part (10) moves upward. When a load P which moves the first flange part (11) downward is applied, the main body part (10) undergoes elastic deformation and the inner circumferential part (10A) of the main body part (10) moves downward. With the deformation of the spring (1), whether moving upward or moving downward, a tensile mode wherein tension is applied with respect to the radial direction of the main body part (10) can be exhibited, and in this case a bending deformation can be achieved.
