Abstract:
A sprinkler head has a sprinkler head body having in it a nozzle and connected to water supply piping. The sprinkler head body is placed within a ceiling and hidden by a cover plate placed on the lower surface of the ceiling. A retainer is removably connected to a tube member installed on the sprinkler head body and can release the cover plate when fire occurs. In installing of the sprinkler head, the construction saves labor of removal and reinstallation of a protective cap. The protective cap (C) installed on the sprinkler head is fitted on the outer periphery of the sprinkler head body (1).
