Title:
SPRINKLER HEAD
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2018/179615
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided is a sprinkler head capable of stably holding a valve element at a nozzle end during a time from when a low-melting-point alloy melts to when a sprinkler head is actuated. A sprinkler head S is provided with a combined belleville spring 5 between a heat-sensitive disassembly part 6 and a valve element 3. For the combined belleville spring 5, a main belleville spring 51 and an auxiliary belleville spring 52 having different spring properties are installed one on the other. This allows the amount of deflection of the auxiliary belleville spring 52 to compensate for the amount of deflection of the main belleville spring 51. Therefore, the valve element 3 can be stably held at a nozzle end 11a, without having to increase the height and the outer diameter of the main belleville spring 51, by absorbing the movement of component parts of the heat-sensitive disassembly part 6 at the time of disassembly through a large amount of deflection achieved by the main belleville spring 51 and the auxiliary belleville spring 52 combined.
