Abstract:
The present invention provides a sprinkler head which makes it possible to increase the sprinkled water amount in the direction of installation of a pin that supports a deflector of the sprinkler head. The sprinkler head comprises: a body 1 which has a nozzle 11 that ejects a fire extinguishing liquid; a valve cap 3 which closes the nozzle 11; a thermosensitive operation part 4 which maintains the closed state of the valve cap 3 with respect to the nozzle 11, and which releases the closed state upon a decomposition operation; a disc-like deflector 21 which disperses the fire extinguishing ejected from the nozzle 11 outwardly in directions intersecting the axis of the nozzle 11; and a support column 22 which supports the deflector 21. On a surface 21a of the deflector 21 on the nozzle 11 side is a recessed part 26 which is formed from the periphery of the support column 22 and toward the outer edge 21b of the deflector 21, and which is more recessed than the surface 21a of the deflector 21 on the nozzle 11 side. Adjacent to the recessed part 26 on both sides in the width direction are first slits 27, the open ends 27c of which are provided adjacently to the outer edge 26b of the recessed part 26.
