Abstract:
Provided is a sputtering target 100 used for forming a positive electrode layer of a lithium ion secondary battery, the sputtering target 100 being constituted by a sintered compact of a plurality of first particles 110 each containing lithium phosphate (for example, Li3PO4) as an inorganic solid electrolyte, and a plurality of second particles 120 each containing a lithium transition metal oxide (for example, LiNiO2) as a positive electrode active material.
