Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a method for producing a square-tube straw that can be flattened out into a planar shape. Provided as a solution for the problem is a square-tube straw production method involving: forming ruled lines, for forming a square tube, on a base material so as to be parallel to the long-side direction; folding the base material along the lines so as to cause a long-side end surface to overlap with a joining surface; and bonding the surfaces, through the application of pressure, in as state where the base material is in a flattened-out state.
