Abstract:
This squirrel-cage rotor (3) is provided with a shaft (1), a rotor core (4), and a slot (5a). The slot (5a) has: an outer peripheral edge portion (R30) positioned on the outer circumferential side of the rotor core (4), provided with a first corner portion (R20) at one end and a second corner portion (R21) at the other end, and having a shape protruding on the outer circumferential side with respect to a virtual circumference which is concentric with the rotor core (4) and connects the first corner portion (R20) and the second corner portion (R21); an inner peripheral edge portion (R31) positioned on the inner circumferential side, provided with a third corner portion (R22) at one end, which has a curvature radius smaller than that of the first corner portion (R20), and a fourth corner portion (R23) at the other end, which has a curvature radius smaller than that of the second corner portion (R21), and having a shape protruding on the outer circumferential side with respect to a virtual circumference which is concentric with the rotor core (4) and connects the third corner portion (R22) and the fourth corner portion (R23); a first side edge portion (L40) connecting the first corner portion (R20) and the third corner portion (R22); and a second side edge portion (L41) connecting the second corner portion (R21) and the fourth corner portion (R23).
