Abstract:
The present invention relates to a stabilizer for episulfide-based optical material having a high refractive index, a composition for optical material using same, and a method for producing optical material, the stabilizer allowing the issues of striae and thermal stability that arise in the episulfide-based optical material having a high refractive index to be resolved. The present invention provides a stabilizer for episulfide-based optical material, the stabilizer comprising the episulfide compound expressed by chemical formula 1. Additionally, provided is a composition for episulfide-based optical material, the composition comprising episulfide compound expressed by chemical formula 2. The present invention includes the stabilizer in episulfide-based optical material having a high refractive index, and thus, by means of a comparatively simple method, the occasional issues of striae and thermal stability that arise in the episulfide-based optical material having a high refractive index can be resolved.
