Abstract:
A stabilizer system (10) is provided with a stabilizer bar (20) which connects a left wheel (16L) and a right wheel (16R) of a vehicle and suppresses the roll of the vehicle by torsional reaction force, an actuator (26) which controls the relative torsion amount between the left wheel side and the right wheel side of the stabilizer bar, and a control device (90) which controls the actuator. The actuator can selectively operate in a permission mode in which the increase/decrease of the torsion amount is permitted or a restriction mode in which the increase/decrease of the torsion amount is restricted. When the torsion amount exceeds a target torsion amount that is the target value of the torsion amount, the control device can execute torsion amount control for bringing the torsion amount close to the target torsion amount by operating the actuator alternately in the permission mode and the restriction mode. From the start of the torsion amount control to arrival at a predetermined given state, the control device sets the degree of restricting the increase/decrease of the torsion amount in the restriction mode lower than that after the arrival at the given state.
