Abstract:
An embodiment of the present invention provides an electrode assembly, a method for manufacturing same, and a secondary battery including same, the electrode assembly having a structure in which a plurality of unit cells are wound by a separation film, and comprising a first unit cell and a second unit cell located at outermost portions on respective sides, wherein: the unit cells include a separator, and at least one selected from the group consisting of a positive electrode and a negative electrode; the positive electrode and the negative electrode each include a flat part in which the thickness of an active material layer is constant and an inclined part in which the thickness of the active material layer decreases in the direction in which the tabs protrude; and a first thickness-supplementing part and a second thickness-supplementing part, which supplement the thickness difference of the flat part and the inclined part, are provided respectively between the first unit cells and the outermost separation film facing the first unit cell and between the second unit cell and the outermost separation film facing the second unit cell.
