Abstract:
The present invention relates to a device for efficiently conveying vehicle panels used in a body welding process on a vehicle assembly line. Provided is a stackable parts feeder which, on the one hand, gives form to a novel panel supply device for an automation concept whereby panels are conveyed upwards from below in a carried state through the use of a buffer function and a chain conveying method involving drive by means of a motor, and hence can increase productivity in that, inter alia, it allows working efficiency to be improved and the work performance of workers to be increased and consequently allows overall cycle times to be dramatically reduced, and which, on the other hand, is devised such that it can respond positively to panels from diverse models of vehicle by means of additions/alterations to the shape of a conveying plate on which the product panels are carried, and hence can increase efficiency of plant operation in that, inter alia, it can be effectively employed on production line for various car models.
