Abstract:
Provided are a stacked-type battery manufacturing method and a manufacturing device for implementing the method, with which productivity can be improved while maintaining high-precision quality. The manufacturing method includes: a stacking step S02 for zigzag-folding an elongate strip-shaped separator 103, and each time the separator 103 is folded, alternately placing, in order on the separator 103, a predetermined number of positive electrode plates 101 and the predetermined number of negative electrode plates 102, each arranged together and arranged side-by-side in a longitudinal direction of the separator 103, to form an electrode stacked body group 110 comprising a plurality of the positive electrode plates 101 and the negative electrode plates 102, the predetermined number thereof being stacked on one another with the separator 103 interposed therebetween; and a dividing step S03 for cutting the formed electrode stacked body group 110 by means of heat cutting in a stacking direction of the positive electrode plates 101 and the negative electrode plates 102, to divide the electrode stacked body group 110 into electrode stacked bodies 110A each comprising a plurality of the positive electrode plates 101 and the negative electrode plates 102 stacked singly with the separator 103 interposed therebetween.
