Abstract:
A stacker crane (1) is configured in such a manner that a first mast (13a) and a second mast (13b) are mounted to a travel carriage body (19) so as to be away from each other in the X-direction and so as to extend in the Z-direction. A first travel wheel (33) and a second travel wheel (35) are mounted to the travel carriage body (19) so as to be away from each other in the X-direction, and roll on the upper surface of a lower guide rail (5b). A first drive wheel unit (31a) and a second drive wheel unit (31b) are mounted to the travel carriage body (19) so as to be away from each other in the X-direction. Each of the first drive wheel unit (31a) and the second drive wheel unit (31b) has a first drive wheel (33) and a second drive wheel (35). The first drive wheels (33) are in contact with one side surface of the lower guide rail (5b). The second drive wheels (35) are mounted in a rockable manner to the travel carriage body (19) and are pressed in the direction in which the second drive wheels (35) approach the first drive wheels (33). As a result, the second drive wheels (35) are in contact with the other side surface of the lower guide rail (5b).
