| Claims 1) The invention describes a plastic seat element encapsulated within a fabric bag having thermal insulation properties with said plastic seat element and fabric bag having a plurality of openings which align with one another such that compartments accessible from the outside of the bag extend into the inners space of the plastic seat and that the entry point of said compartments are located on any of the sides or the top, being the seating surface when in use 2) The invention as described above having a seat panel and a back rest panel which have lining with insulation properties to insulate the user from the ambient thermal effects of the stadium seat 3) The invention as described above having at least one compartment not accessible when the booster is in use 4) The invention as described above having one or more insulated compartment providing a thermal barrier between the internal space and the atmosphere 5) The invention has a fabric cover with a storage pocket located such that a rain hood is attached to the cover and can be deployed when needed 6) The invention as described above having a semi ridged body being of or having a thermal covering or lining to insulate against the outer atmosphere and being of light weight material similar to polystyrene 7) The fabric bag having light reflective elements 8) The invention as described above having a plastic body able to withstand a static load of not less than 75kg so as to support the mass of a 4 year plus child or adult |
Description
The invention describes a stadium booster seat designed to raise up a young child when sitting in stadium or tiered seating such that they will adopt a similar height viewing position to an adult. The Booster can function as a back pack to carry a selection of items as may be needed.
The invention is described as comprising a fabric bag (3) encapsulating a plastic seat (1) element. The plastic seat element provides a seating surface and a primary storage compartment. There is also an insulation layer (2) between the fabric (3) and the plastic seat (1). There is also provided a secondary storage compartment (5) for a drinks bottle (4), which can be accessed while the child is sitting on the booster. For the purpose of illustration this is shown on the front surface when in use. There could be a multiple of storage compartments accessible when sat on the booster
The fabrics and the lamination layers between the plastic body and the outside are insulated so as to provide thermal protection to the stored contents within the backpack and so insulate against hot or cold or wet conditions when sitting on the booster having similar properties to a food insulated storage bag
As a further embodiment the invention can comprise of a ridged or semi ridged body made of Expanded Polystyrene or similar such material as to be light weight and insulating and encapsulated within a fabric bag
The outer surface of the plastic body may be covered or lined with a insulation material such polystyrene that seat surface will not be excessively hot or cold to sit on and will manage the temperature of the internal storage compartment and furthermore increase the comfort
