Abstract:
A stage-controlled four-quadrant converter. For a locomotive electric transmission system, a voltage stage control method for an intermediate bus of the four-quadrant converter is used, such that the intermediate bus of the four-quadrant converter has different voltage levels within a full speed range of the locomotive. The voltage stage control method for an intermediate bus of a four-quadrant converter comprises: first designing a control algorithm and a modulation algorithm for a traction electric motor, wherein strong coupling points of the control algorithm and the modulation algorithm are arranged at vehicle speeds V5 and V6 of the traction electric motor, and modulation switching is performed first, and control switching is then performed; choosing to set a control mode switching point at V6 according to a switching frequency selected by an inverter and a vehicle speed of the traction electric motor, wherein the width of a switching hysteresis loop is ±M km/h; and choosing to set, at V2, a switching point for asynchronous modulation and synchronous modulation, and choosing to set, at V5, a switching point for the synchronous modulation and square wave modulation, wherein the width of a switching hysteresis loop is ±N km/h.
