Abstract:
Disclosed is a stainless steel wire having excellent conduction heating properties and excellent lubricity in a warm range. The stainless steel wire is characterized in that: the surface of the stainless steel wire is provided with a lubricating coating film that contains graphite; the amount of the lubricating coating film adhering to the surface is 0.1 g/m2 or more; the friction coefficient of the lubricating coating film at 300°C is 0.3 or less; and the volume resistivity of the stainless steel wire including the lubricating coating film on the surface is 1 × 10-4 Ω∙m or less.
