Abstract:
A stainproof fiber structure, in which a stainproof resin is fixed at least to a part of a fiber surface, wherein: when observed under a transmission electron microscope, area(s) dyed with osmium oxide exist at least in a part of the inside of the resin; at least one of these areas has a circular shape; the maximum diameter of the areas is 100-500 nm inclusive; and, when the fiber surface is measured with an energy dispersion type X-ray analyzer, the ratio by mass concentration of oxygen atom to fluorine atom (O/F) is 3 or greater.
Thus, provided is a fiber structure that is highly resistant to the adhesion of aqueous and oily stains and shows excellent stain removing properties when washed.
