Abstract:
Provided is a stainproof fiber structure which has high resistance against the adhesion of aqueous stains and oily stains and from which stains can be easily removed by washing. The stainproof fiber structure, wherein a resin coating film comprising a fluorine-based oil-repellent resin having a hydrophilic component and polyvinyl alcohol is formed on at least a part of the fiber surface, is characterized by having a water repellency degree of 2 or less when measured by a spray test in accordance with JIS L-1092 and an oil repellency degree of 2 or more when measured in accordance with AATCC 118 test. Preferably, the fluorine-based oil-repellent resin is a fluorine-based oil-repellent resin having a polyoxyalkylene group. Preferably, the average degree of polymerization of the polyvinyl alcohol is 200-1500.
