Abstract:
Provided is a staking affixation structure for a plunger pump, which is characterized in that: a housing is deformed and staked to a member to which the housing is to be staked, thereby enabling a plunger pump accommodated within a hole in the housing to be affixed to the housing; and in the deformed and staked region directed perpendicularly to the operating shaft of the plunger pump, the volume of the portion of the housing, which is deformed and staked toward the inside of the inner wall of the hole, in which the member to which the housing is to be staked is disposed, is greater than the volume of a projection space formed by projecting the inner wall of the hole, in which the member to which the housing is to be staked is disposed, on a region extended in the direction of the operating shaft of the plunger pump toward the inside of a shear surface of the housing.
