Abstract:
The invention relates to a stamped sheet metal for stamping one- or multi-layered materials, such as labels, envelopes or stickers, comprising a stamping body (1) having at least one stamping edge (2, 7), wherein the stamped sheet metal can preferably be fixed either magnetically or by means of clamping on a stamped sheet metal holding device and the stamping edge (2, 7) wears off during use, and wherein the stamped sheet metal comprises at least one positioning means (6; 17, 18; 19) for sharpening the already existing stamping edge after its wear or an additionally applied stamping edge, characterized in that said positioning means allows a preferably automatic processing and positions the stamped sheet metal relative to a device for processing the stamping edge. A method for the renewal of a stamped sheet metal is also claimed.
