Abstract:
A stand mixer and a drive circuit for the same. The drive circuit for the stand mixer comprises a main control circuit (1); an electronic switch (2); a rectifier circuit (3) for establishing an electrical connection to the mains power; a relay (4) electrically connected to the rectifier circuit (3); and a motor (5) electrically connected to the relay (4). The main control circuit (1) generates a PWM signal and a control signal, and the PWM signal comprises a first voltage level signal and a second voltage level signal. The main control circuit (1) is electrically connected to one terminal of the relay (4) so as to control, via the control signal, the relay (4) to enter a closed or open state. A first terminal of the electronic switch (2) is electrically connected to the other terminal of the relay (4) and the motor (5), and is electrically connected to the relay (4) when the relay (4) is in the closed state; a second terminal of the electronic switch (2) is electrically connected to the rectifier circuit (3); and a third terminal of the electronic switch (2) is electrically connected to the main control circuit (1), receives the PWM signal, and enables the electronic switch (2) to close when the PWM signal is the first voltage level signal, such that the motor (5) is able to operate. The invention ensures a smooth and stable voltage input, and prevents issues of brush abrasion and sparks caused by voltage instability.
