Abstract:
The present invention relates to a standard sample preparation and feeding device for use in calibration of a trace-analysis instrument, and more particularly, to a standard sample preparation and feeding device for use in calibration of a combined gas chromatograph (GC)-ion mobility spectrometry (IMS) instrument. By using the preparation and feeding device, no additional dedicated tool and step are required for preparation of a testing sample for use in calibration of a trace-analysis instrument, and there is no need to use an organic solvent and a dedicated sample application tool. The prevent invention can be carried and used easily and conveniently, enables a calibration substance to be stored and replaced conveniently, and is safe, reliable and eco-friendly.
