Abstract:
Provided is a standby electricity interruption device, which is installed on a power line connected to the inside of an electronic device from an external alternating current power source, and comprises: a microcomputer for controlling an operation of the standby electricity interruption device; a switch unit including a solenoid which serves as an electromagnet when being supplied with an electrical current from the external alternating current power source, and a mechanical switch portion which is driven by the solenoid whenever the solenoid serves as an electromagnet, so that connection and disconnection between contact points of one or more disconnected power lines in the power line from the external alternating current power source are alternated; and a phototriac coupler for controlling application of external alternating current power to the solenoid in the switch unit according to the control by the microcomputer. Accordingly, the standby electricity interruption device, through a simple structure, perfectly interrupts standby electricity of an electronic device.
