Abstract:
The present invention relates to a staple and to a stapler. The stapler of the present invention includes: a magazine unit loaded with staples each of which have a connection bar arranged perpendicular to a pair of bendable legs and which is formed integrally with the tops of the pair of bendable legs; a handle unit having a driver plate for extruding the staple loaded in the magazine unit, and which is coupled to or separated from the upper portion of the magazine unit; a cut groove forming unit arranged in the handle unit to form one or more cut grooves at the staple; and a base having a bending groove for bending the pair of bendable legs of the staple extruded by the driver plate. As the stapler of the present invention forms cut grooves at the staple, it is possible to easily fracture and remove the staple which staples together a sheaf of papers even without using a staple remover, thereby enabling the easy reutilization or shredding of papers, and in addition, the easy removal and realignment of documents, and reducing paper consumption and protecting the environment. The staple of the present invention includes a pair of bendable legs which are bent after passing through a sheaf of papers, and a connection bar formed integrally with the tops of the pair of bendable legs and formed perpendicularly to the pair of bendable legs, and which has one or more cut grooves. The connection bar is easily fractured by the cut grooves when the portion with the cut grooves is bent. The staple of the present invention enables users to easily remove the staple which staples together a sheaf of papers by simply fracturing the connection bar of the staple even without using a staple remover. Moreover, accidents which might be caused by the fractured part when the connection bar of the staple is fractured can be prevented.
