Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/1985/003972
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
An alarm device is incorporated in a starter switch of a vehicle. When the wrong key is used, the alarm sounds, and the engine will not start. A starter switch contact (KS) and a stop relay contact are connected in series to an ignition coil (IC), and an alarm contact is connected to relay (Ra) in series therewith, and further an alarm relay contact is connected to a buzzer (C) in series therewith. These parts are then connected in parallel to the power supply. When the wrong key is used, the contact plate is not allowed to move to a predetermined position. Therefore, the alarm contact is closed by the contact plate, and the alarm relay contact is closed to energize the buzzer (C), while breaking the stop relay contact, making it impossible to start the engine.
