Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a starting device that is for internal combustion engines and reduces noise during starting. This starting device for internal combustion engines is provided with a switch part (10), a motor part (20), a transmission mechanism part (30), and a pinion gear part (44). The transmission mechanism part (30) is composed of: a planetary gear device comprising a pinion (31) that is connected to a rotary shaft of the motor part (20), a plurality of planetary gears (36) to which the rotation of the pinion (31) is transmitted, and an internal gear (37) that receives the rotation of the planetary gears (36); and a mechanical frame that accommodates the planetary gear device, wherein an elastic body (38) is fitted between a protrusion section (37a) formed on the outer circumferential surface of the internal gear (37) and a recess section (32a) that accommodates the protrusion section (37a), and gaps (S1, S2, S3) are formed between the internal gear (37) and the mechanical frame through the elastic body (38).
