Abstract:
A damper device (10) of a hydraulic power transmission device (1) includes: a drive member (11), to which power from an engine is transmitted via a multi-disc friction-type lockup clutch mechanism (8); first and second outer circumferential springs (SP 11, SP12); a first intermediate member (12) and a second intermediate member (14); inner circumferential springs (SP2); and a driven member (15). The drive member (11) is coupled to a clutch drum (82) such that, together with the clutch drum (82) of lockup clutch mechanism (8) the second intermediate member (14) is clamped therebetween. In addition, the drive member has spring contact parts (11a), each of which extends toward the lockup clutch mechanism (8) and makes contact with one end of a first outer circumferential spring (SP11).
