Abstract:
A starting device provided with a centrifugal pendulum vibration absorber (10) is configured in such a manner that the flow of hydraulic oil flowing from the lock-up piston (90) side toward the damper mechanism (8) side is formed within a clutch engagement chamber while lock-up is disengaged, that axial thrust force directed from the lock-up piston (90) side toward the damper mechanism (8) side acts on a weight (120) disposed on the mass body (12) of the centrifugal pendulum vibration absorber (10) at a position on the lock-up piston (90) side, and that weight supporting protrusions (117a, 117b) protruding in the axial direction of the input shaft of a transmission device toward the weight (120), which is disposed on the lock-up piston (90) side, are provided to the support member (11) of the centrifugal pendulum vibration absorber (10).
