Abstract:
A starting system and a control method. The starting system comprises an engine (1), a generator, a control unit (5), an air storage tank (2), a suction pipeline (3) and an electromagnetic valve (4), wherein the generator drives the engine (1) to rotate, two ends of the suction pipeline (3) are respectively in communication with the air storage tank (2) and an air intake manifold (111), a throttle valve (12) and the suction pipeline (3) are sequentially arranged in a flowing direction of air in the air intake manifold (111), and the electromagnetic valve (4) is arranged on the suction pipeline (3). During shutdown, a piston (13) draws air in the air storage tank (2) by means of the air intake manifold (111), so that the air storage tank (2) has a certain degree of vacuum; during starting, when a rotation speed of the engine (1) reaches a first preset rotation speed, the piston (13) starts to draw air from the air intake manifold (111), the electromagnetic valve (4) is opened, and the air storage tank (2) and the piston (13) draw air from the air intake manifold (111) together; and when the rotation speed of the engine (1) reaches a second preset rotation speed, starting is finished, and the electromagnetic valve (4) is closed. The starting system and the control method are used for reducing compression counter-force of the piston and dragging torque of the generator when the engine is started, increasing the starting speed of the engine, and improving the noise vibration and harshness performance.
