Abstract:
The present application discloses a state control method, applied to an ONU or ONT of a passive optical network (PON). Said method comprises: receiving a first downlink data frame, the first downlink data frame comprising data of N different rates and indication information, the indication information including length information of data of each rate in the first downlink data frame, N≥2; determining length information of first data in the data of N different rates, the rate of the first data being higher than the operating rate of a CDR module; and generating control information according to the length information of the first data, so as to control the CDR module to be in a specified state within a time period corresponding to the length information of the first data. The technical solution of the present application can control a CDR module to be in a specified state in a time period when the rate is higher than the operating rate of the CDR module, thereby avoiding the instability of a clock at the ONU side, and also avoiding the loss of an uplink sending clock.
