Abstract:
This state determination device has a storage means that stores reference information on a magnetic characteristic at a designated position in the periphery of a flange part of a hub unit bearing, an acquisition means that acquires measurement information on the magnetic characteristic at the designated position of the hub unit bearing, a derivation means that derives amounts of change in the reference information held in the storage means and the measurement information acquired by the acquisition means, and a determination means that determines the state of the hub unit bearing on the basis of the amounts of change derived by the derivation means, the designated position being a position where the magnetic characteristic fluctuates in accordance with changes in stress exerted on the flange part.
