Disclosed is a means which can judge the state of layer multiplication of a cell cluster from two observed images separated by a predetermined time interval. An image processing program (GP) is provided with a step (S10) acquiring a first image and a second image imaged at a predetermined time interval by means of an imaging device; a step (S40) taking a local regional luminescence distribution of the first image as a benchmark, performing block matching in the vicinity, including the corresponding location, in the second image, taking the degree of approximation of the region with the highest match as a representative degree of approximation, and progressively moving the local region, calculating the representative degree of approximation for each section of the cell cluster; and a step (S50) outputting layer multiplication information corresponding to the calculated representative degree of approximation. The image processing program (GP) is configured so as to output layer multiplication information by which the state of layer multiplication of the cell cluster can be judged from the first and second images.
