Abstract:
Through the present invention, an SOC is estimated with high precision even when a power storage element has a region in which the amount of variation in OCV with respect to the amount of variation in SOC is small. A state estimation device BM for estimating the state of a power storage element having a low-variation region in which the amount of variation in OCV with respect to the amount of variation in SOC is relatively low and a high-variation region in which the amount of variation in OCV with respect to the amount of variation in SOC is relatively high, wherein the state estimation device BM is provided with a region determination unit 60 for determining whether the power storage element 31 belongs to the high-variation region, and an SOC estimation unit 60 for estimating the SOC of the power storage element, the SOC estimation unit 60 estimates the SOC of the power storage element by a current integration method for integrating the electric current value of the power storage element 31, and when the power storage element 31 belongs to the high-variation region, the SOC estimation unit 60 performs correction processing for correcting the SOC estimated by the current integration method on the basis of the observed value of the terminal voltage of the power storage element and the terminal voltage predicted by an estimation model for estimating an internal state of the power storage element.
