Abstract:
The present invention relates to a state monitoring apparatus for an ultrasonic humidifier and, more specifically, to a state monitoring apparatus capable of detecting a water level by monitoring a voltage and current supplied to an ultrasonic oscillator which is used to generate a spray. The ultrasonic humidifier comprises: an ultrasonic oscillator which atomizes water contained in a humidification container; a spray amount setting unit which sets the generation amount of the spray; and an oscillator driving unit which drives the ultrasonic oscillator by using an amplitude proportionate to a setting value of the spray amount setting unit and an alternating current driving signal of a frequency corresponding to a resonant frequency of the ultrasonic oscillator, wherein the state monitoring apparatus of the present invention comprises: a voltage amplitude detection unit which detects an amplitude of an output voltage of the oscillator driving unit; a current amplitude detection unit which detects an amplitude of an output current of the oscillator driving unit; and a state determining unit which compares whether a load resistance value calculated from an output signal of the voltage amplitude detection unit and the current amplitude detection unit is within a load resistance range when in a normal operation, and determines a water level of the humidification container and a state of the oscillator by directly comparing the load resistance value and the load resistance range or indirectly comparing the load resistance value and the load resistance range using a comparison equation which applies Ohm's law to the load resistance value and the load resistance range and is expressed after a conversion into a voltage or a current.
