Abstract:
A state monitoring system (Stm) that monitors the state of a gear device having a plurality of gear pairs comprises a meshing frequency identification device (40), the meshing frequency identification device (40) having: a maximum peak amplitude etc. calculating means (44) that calculates the maximum peak amplitude from meshing oscillations detected in an expected frequency range and set harmonic region and that selects expected frequencies for which the difference in maximum peak amplitude among the plurality of set expected frequency ranges is a set multiple or less; and a meshing frequency identifying means (45) that, from among the selected expected frequencies, identifies an expected frequency for which a total value within the time of the maximum peak amplitude calculated in the ranges of the plurality of set expected frequencies is the k-th largest (where k is a natural number), as the meshing frequency of the gear pairs at which the tooth surface speed is the k-th largest.
