This static elimination device (10) is provided with: a connection cable (12), said connection cable (12) including a high-voltage cable (15) which comprises a portion (15b) inserted inside of the connection cable (12) and a led-out leading end part (15d) led out from the leading end of the connection cable; and a head part (13) which is disposed on the leading end of the connection cable (12). The led-out leading end part (15d) of the high-voltage cable (15) is introduced into the head part (13). The head part (13) includes: a discharge electrode (23) which is electrically connected to the high-voltage cable (15) and generates static elimination ions using a high voltage applied thereto through the high-voltage cable (15); an insulated electrode holder (22) which surrounds the outer periphery of the discharge electrode (23) and holds the discharge electrode (23); a counter electrode (21) which is disposed on the outer periphery of the electrode holder (22); a connection part (34) for electrically connecting the discharge electrode (23) to the high-voltage cable (15); an insulating pipe (25) which is disposed between the counter electrode (21) and the discharge electrode (23) and surrounds and holds the connection part (34); and a holding member (24) for holding the led-out leading end part (15d) of the high-voltage cable (15) introduced into the head part (13). The electrode holder (22) is formed from a fluororesin.
