Abstract:
Disclosed is a static eliminator for a liquid crystal panel. The static eliminator comprises: a conveyance unit for successively conveying liquid crystal panels along a conveyance route; and a first discharging unit provided above the conveyance unit along a direction orthogonal to the direction of the conveyance route and connected to ground, the first discharging unit including a first holding mechanism provided on the frame of the conveyance unit and a first discharging mechanism held by the first holding mechanism. According to the static eliminator for a liquid crystal panel, the static eliminator can be kept in contact with the whole surface of the liquid crystal panel during a discharge process, the conveyance of the liquid crystal panel does not need to be stopped during discharging, and the structure of the static eliminator itself can be significantly simplified.
