Abstract:
A static mixer, comprising a tubular mixer body having a fluid inlet port in one end wall and a fluid outlet port in the other end wall, wherein a baffle plate extending from the side wall of the mixer body in a direction orthogonal to the axis thereof to shield a flow between the fluid inlet port and the fluid outlet port is installed in the mixer body, a partition wall extended to the fluid inlet port side and fitted to the side wall at both ends thereof is provided at the tip edge of the baffle plate, whereby, for example, when the static mixer is used for mixing cleaning agent in a drain passage, the cleaning agent can be efficiently mixed in sewage without causing the stagnation of flow by long refuse such as hair and lint mixed in the sewage to contribute to a reduction in the amount of the cleaning agent.
