A drive device is provided with a stator (13), a housing (3) and a spring pin (15). The housing (3) contains a cylindrical portion (11) and a plate-shaped portion (29). The cylindrical part (11) has a first grooved part formed on the inner peripheral surface (21) thereof, and houses the stator (13). The plate-shaped part (29) has a flat plate shape that intersects orthogonally with the center axis (P) of the cylindrical part (11), and protrudes from the outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical part (11). The first grooved part is positioned within a range in the circumferential direction (Q) of the cylindrical portion (11) facing the joint position (B) where the cylindrical portion (11) and the plate-shaped portion (29) are joined, with the central shaft (P) interposed therebetween. The spring pin (15) is press-fitted into the first grooved part, and anchors the stator (13) to the housing (3) by pushing the stator (13) against the inner peripheral surface (21) of the cylindrical part (11).
