Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to improve the heat dissipation properties of the coils of a stator. A stator of a dynamo-electric machine, or the dynamo-electric machine, according to the present invention comprises: a stator core 132 in which a plurality of slots 420 aligned in the circumferential direction are formed; and stator coils 60 having an insulating coating, the stator coils 60 being inserted in the slots 420 of the stator core 132. The stator coils 60 are configured from first through fourth layer segments in which a plurality of segment conductors 28 are aligned in the circumferential direction and each of the segments is aligned in the radial direction from the inner diameter to the outer diameter. The first and second layer segments are connected to each other in a state of being displaced in the circumferential direction by a first displacement amount, and the third and fourth layer segments are connected to each other in a state of being displaced in the circumferential direction by a second displacement amount provided so as to differ from the first displacement amount.
