Abstract:
A stator has: a stator core disposed about the central axis and covered with an insulator; a plurality of coil portions provided on the stator core with the insulator interposed therebetween; and an intermediate bus bar electrically connected to a part of a conducting wire constituting the coil portions. A stator manufacturing method has an attachment step, a winding step, and a connection step. Before start of the winding step, the intermediate bus bar is supported at a first position apart from the coil portions at attachment portions in the shaft direction. After completion of the winding step, the intermediate bus bar is fixed at a second position between the first position and the coil portions in the shaft direction.
