Abstract:
Provided are a stator which achieves a reduction in size, and a method for manufacturing a stator. Specifically disclosed is a stator comprising a cylindrical core, a cylindrical outer ring provided at the outer periphery of the core, a coil provided so as to be inserted in teeth of the core, and a bus bar joined to a terminal of the coil, an end in the axial direction of the outer ring protruding further than an end surface in the axial direction of the core. Said stator is characterized in that a joint between a terminal of the bus bar and the terminal of the coil is provided within a region formed between the coil and the outer ring in the radial direction of the core and formed between the end surface of the core and the end of the outer ring in the axial direction of the core.
