Abstract:
This stator is configured in a manner such that in each of a plurality of slots thereof, the projection length in the axial direction of the projecting parts of an outermost coil section, which is a straight coil section positioned farthest to the outside in the radial direction, and an innermost coil section, which is a straight coil section positioned farthest to the inside in the radial direction, is shorter than the projection length in the axial direction of a projecting part of an intermediate coil section, which is a straight coil section positioned between the outermost coil section and the innermost coil section.
